Every house has its flaws, but it is all about finding the beauty in each room. Greige can dramatically update a home for a timeless look.
What is Greige
You might have heard the word greige and thought what is that? To simply put it, greige is a mixture of gray and beige paint color.
Depending on the amount of gray added to the paint, the color can appear more gray or beige. Even the color of your decor can alter the color of a greige paint color.
This makes greige the perfect color to flow from room to room in your home.
Why This Color Works Everywhere
The color greige works great in an space because it is not too stark and blends with existing decor, furniture, and flooring.
Not only does this color mesh well, it is a timeless paint color that will be in style forever.
The color gray is also popular right now but gray will go out of style at some point just like the color tan and beige did.
So, you can pick the color greige and your house will remain in style forever!
Worldly Gray Master Bedroom
Here is my master bedroom painted in the greige color, Worldly Gray Sherwin Williams. I love the color Worldly Gray because it has a taupe look to it.

City Loft Bathroom
My master bathroom had this orangey outdated tile on the floor, in the shower, and along the soaking tub.
The tile is not awful, but it just isn’t my style. I knew it would be a big project to try to remove and install new tile, so I had to work around it.
Then I painted the bathroom a light shade of greige to help cool down the orangey tile and match the vanity.
The greige paint color in this master bathroom is, City Loft by Sherwin Williams.
Depending on the lighting the color City Loft can appear off-white or a light greige.
Agreeable Grey Kitchen
This kitchen is painted in the color, Agreeable Gray by Sherwin Williams. Agreeable Gray is one of the most popular paints colors made by Sherwin Williams.
This shade of greige feels warm and cozy in any room. It also helps to cool down the orangey tones of outdated flooring.
Burnished Clay Living Room
This is one of my favorite rooms to relax in and I think that is because of the greige paint in this room. It could be because there aren’t many toys in this room either, but this room just feels so inviting to me.
I painted this living room and dining area the greige color, Burnished Clay by Behr paint.
This was supposed to be your typically formal living area, but I made it more cozy so I would actually use this space and I certainly do!

Natural Gray Paint in Living Room
Here is a stark gray paint color that I used in my family room to show the difference between gray and greige.
This gray paint color is Natural Gray by Behr paint.
The color Natural Gray is a true gray paint color with very little undertones pulling through.
At first this color felt cold in this room, but I was able to warm it up with the area rug and some greenery on the other side of the room.
