Healthy Lunchables that Maintain Weight Loss

I’ve lost 54lbs and kept it off for over 5 years from eating healthy but satisfying meals like these. I try to get a variety of micro and macro nutrients in every meal to make sure I am supporting my body.

This is my take on the childhood lunchable that you might of eaten as a kid back in the day. Sorry to disappoint, but these lunchables don’t come with an adult beverage instead of a fruit juice.

These adult lunchables contain a balance of carbs, protein, and healthy fats to keep you full and satisfied. Instead of fruit juice, I recommend a big glass of water or sparkling water with your lunch.

Healthy Adult Lunchable 1:

  • Handful of Carrots
  • Mini Cucumbers
  • Serving of Crunchmaster Crackers
  • 1/4 Cup of Mixed Nuts
  • 2 Hardboiled Eggs
  • Mozzarella String Cheese
  • Small Piece of Dark Chocolate

These grow up lunchables are great on the go or for a quick lunch meal prep. Add your favorite crunchy snack in the morning or just before you eat your lunch. I don’t like to leave crackers or pretzels in the fridge overnight.

Adult Lunchable 2:

  • 2 Hardboiled Eggs
  • Strawberries
  • Cream Cheese Dip
  • Everything Protein Bagel Bagel Balls

These protein everything bagel balls are lower in carbs, sugar, and contain more protein than your average bagel. They taste great cold or reheated in the microwave then dipped in a cream cheese dip.

500 Calorie Snack Box for Lunch

This next healthy snack box is only 500 calories and contains lower carbs to help you reach your goals! Asides from being lower in calories and carbs, this box satisfies those pizza cravings without interfering with your hard work.

All you need is:

  • Add your favorite fruit
  • 1/4 cup of nuts to fill you up
  • Low Carb + High Protein Pizza Bites
  • Small Piece of Dark Chocolate

Pizza Bite Recipe:

  • 1/2 Cup of King Arthur Bread Flour
  • 1 Cup of Nonfat Plain Greek Yogurt
  • Pizza Seasoning to Taste
  • Any kind of red sauce
  • 1 Mozzarella Cheesestick cut up into small pieces
  • Regular Pepperoni or Turkey Pepperoni to save even more calories.

To make the pizza dough, mix the flour with pizza seasoning and Greek yogurt then place into a silicone mini muffin tray. Fill each muffin well about half way to leave room for sauce, cheese, and peperoni.

Then cover the pizza dough with a leftover red sauce from pasta night or pizza sauce. Next cut up a string cheese into small circles then place 1 circle on top of the red sauce. Lastly add your turkey pepperoni or regular pepperoni to cover the cheese.

Bake for 10-15 minutes at 400 degrees then remove from the oven and allow to cool before remove the pizza bites. Once the muffin tray has cooled, pop them from the silicone tray. Eat immediately or store in the fridge for leftovers.

These pizza bites taste great reheated in the microwave or even cold if you are on the go. You can eat 10 pizza bites for under 500 calories and 30g of protein!

2 Minute High Protein Sandwich

This easy microwave breakfast sandwich is packed with protein to keep you full all morning or afternoon. I make these throughout the week for a quick breakfast or for a filling lunch paired with a side of fruit.

All you need is:

  • 2 Eggs
  • Aldi Chicken Sausage
  • Cheddar Cheese

1. Mix eggs with cut up sausage and cheese in a small microwave safe bowl.

2. Microwave 30 seconds. Stir. Microwave 30 seconds. Stir. Microwave 30 seconds.

Check then microwave 30 seconds more if for less runny eggs. No need to stir after the 3rd time of microwaving or you will rip the eggs.

3. Place on your favorite bread or bagel. I’m using Ezekiel bread with ketchup and hemp seeds.

Conclusion

Maintaining your weight is hard, but these simple healthy lunches will satisfy your cravings and meet your body’s needs. So, you can maintain all that hard work that you put in to loose weight!
