These protein waffles are packed with 24 grams of protein and low carb without any added powers. Make these waffles in bulk and freeze then reheat in the toaster for a balanced breakfast.

Why I Stopped Using Protein Powder

I used to add protein powder to everything and think I was being healthy. Instead my stomach hurt and I felt bloated from all of these added supplements.

PROTEIN WAFFLE RECIPE

I tried multiple brands of protein powder, but always felt that I looked puffy and gained weight from it. I ditched the protein powder and found other sources of protein and I started eating a more balanced diet.

Focusing heavily on one macronutrient wasn’t working for my body. I found my body does better with a balance of carbs, protein, and fats.

I’ve been maintaining my 54lb weight loss and muscle mass by following this balanced lifestyle approach.

Protein Waffle Ingredients:

  • 1/2 TSP Baking Powder

PROTEIN WAFFLE RECIPE

Protein Waffle Recipe:

Mix the all ingredients together in a large glass bowl. Place the entire batter into an heated waffle iron.

The batter will be thick, so let it stay in the waffle iron a little longer than usual to crisp up the waffle.

Once the waffle feels extra crispy, it will easily remove from the waffle iron. Make a batch of protein waffles in bulk and freeze in a freezer safe bag.

Simply reheat a frozen protein waffle in the toaster when ready for quick meal.

Optional: Drizzle with a maple syrup or peanut butter and a serving of fruit on the side.
