Accent Colors for Agreeable Gray Walls

This is my basement with black painted exposed ceilings, a blue accent wall, warm wood tone flooring, and pops of color throughout.

As you can see the black ceiling stands out against the gray walls and the Bunglehouse Blue painted accent wall brings contrast behind the bar.

Since this is my basement, I went more bold on my design which is out of my usual neutral decor.

After finishing the basement, I realized I love the color so much, that I wish I put more personality upstairs in my design.

Iron Ore Ceiling with Agreeable Walls

Depending on the lighting and undertones in the darker accent color, the walls can take on a more yellow or gray appearance.

The color Iron Ore by Sherwin is a shade of black with a bronze undertone mixed in, giving it a rich velvety appearance.

Iron Ore leans toward the warmer side due to its deep brown appearance which make Agreeable Gray appear more beige.
