Green tea bars are the perfect way to energize your morning! Packed with antioxidants from Matcha and fat from peanut butter to keep you full.
This recipe can easily be altered by adding in different nuts, seeds, and even a little honey or maple syrup for more sweetness.
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 Cup Oat Flour 1/2 Cup Peanut Butter
- 1 TSP Vanilla
- 1/3 Cup Cooled Green Tea
- 2 TSP Matcha Green Tea Powder
- 1/2 Cup of Dark Chocolate Chips
Green Tea Bar Directions:
1. Mix all wet ingredients then mix in all dry ingredients in the same bowl.
2. Line a loaf pan with parchment paper, so you can easily remove the bars. You can also use a brownie pan or another small baking pan or dish if you don’t have a loaf pan.
3. Press the cookie dough into the loaf pan with your fingers or the back of a spoon.
4. Once the dough has been spread throughout the pan, set the pan into the fridge.
5. Allow the dough to firm up for about an hour before eating.
6. Gently remove the dough by pulling the parchment paper.
7. Place on top of a cutting board and slice into larger bars for breakfast or small bars for snack.
Store in the fridge and enjoy for breakfast with a bowl of fruit or yogurt.
