Healthy Date Bites
All you need are medjool dates pitted and halved, sun butter or peanut butter, and dark chocolate. A silicone mini muffin tray works best so you can easily pop these out.
- 12 Medjool Dates Pitted and Halved
- 24 TSP Dark Chocolate Chips
- Drizzle of Sun Butter on Each Date Bite
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Remove the pit from the Medjool dates and slice in half then set aside.
Add 1 TSP of dark chocolate chips to a silicone 24 mini muffin tray.
Place 1 halved date over top of the dark chocolate. Then drizzle sun butter over all of the dates.
Place in oven and heat for about 5-7 minutes or until the dates soften and the chocolate melts.
Remove from oven and gently press the dates down if needed.
Place mini muffin tray in the freezer for about an hour to firm up the date bites.
Pop each date bite from the silicone tray and store in the fridge in an airtight container. Enjoy as a dessert or snack!
