Banana Bread
Most banana bread recipes call for 1/3 cup of melted butter. There are over 500 calories in 1/3 cup of butter and 60 grams of fat. So making a few tweaks to the recipe can really lighten it up and make it a more healthier option.
- 4 Ripe Bananas
- 1/3 Cup Melted Butter (Coconut Oil or Unsweetened Apple Sauce)
- 1 Egg
- 1/2 Sugar
- 1 TSP Vanilla
- Dash Salt
- 1 TSP Baking Soda
- 1 1/2 Cup Flour
Mash bananas in a large bowl then mix in all wet ingredients.
Add all dry ingredients in the same bowl and mix well.
Pour into a loaf pan and bake for 45-55 minutes at 350 degrees.
