Banana Bread

Most banana bread recipes call for 1/3 cup of melted butter. There are over 500 calories in 1/3 cup of butter and 60 grams of fat. So making a few tweaks to the recipe can really lighten it up and make it a more healthier option.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Ripe Bananas
  • 1/3 Cup Melted Butter (Coconut Oil or Unsweetened Apple Sauce)
  • 1 Egg
  • 1/2 Sugar
  • 1 TSP Vanilla
  • Dash Salt
  • 1 TSP Baking Soda
  • 1 1/2 Cup Flour

Instructions
 

  • Mash bananas in a large bowl then mix in all wet ingredients.
  • Add all dry ingredients in the same bowl and mix well.
  • Pour into a loaf pan and bake for 45-55 minutes at 350 degrees.
